Description

DESCRIPTION OF WORK The work for this project includes control of pocket gophers by hand application baiting using strychnine-treated grain and treatment of conifer seedlings with Big Game Repellant (BGR) on selected areas of the Emigrant Creek Ranger District on the Malheur National Forest. Handling and application of pesticides and BGR must be in accordance with manufacturer?s instructions and in compliance with all local, State, and Federal laws. Contractor and its on-site representative must have a current, valid Commercial Operator?s License in accordance with Oregon State Law, and provide proof of required license(s) to the Contracting Officer peior to beginning any work on the contract. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, transportation, equipment, supplies (unless specified elsewhere as Government-furnished) and incidentals necessary to accomplish the work.All project areas for the gopher baiting shall be baited twice. The second baiting shall start 7 to 14 days after completion of the first baiting. A Gopher Activity (open hole) Survey shall be taken 7 to 14 days after the second baiting. This solicitation will be made available on FedBizOpps on May 3, 2004.
