Description
REQUEST FOR INFORMATION Digital Radio Automation System American Forces Radio Television Service-Broadcast Center. The Government is seeking to acquire a turnkey Digital Radio Automation System capable of: program acquisition; media storage; media management, editing and production; newsroom wire data management; live assist, and satellite service playback; LAN networking; media management, newsroom wire data management, LAN networks, accepting and creating cuing closures for the American Forces Radio and Television Service Broadcast Center (AFRTS-BC). This System is part of a new Digital Radio Facility being engineered for installation at the Broadcast Center The contractor must provide an “System integrator,” design, engineer, furnish hardware, materials and equipment in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS) and provide installation supervision for the Government installation team of all hardware, materials and equipment including those items noted as Government Furnished Equipment (GFE). The Contractor shall provide full documentation of the project, conduct complete end-to-end testing of the System, and commission all equipment, software, LAN Networks, per this Performance Work Statement. The Contractor shall provide all training on site. The System must support full-time live and/or time-shifted program feeds using sources from satellite, fiber, Internet protocol, telecommunication services and in-house assembled programming. Please provide any comments, questions and advise for preparation of issuing the final PWS no later than June 20, 2003.
