- Argon Ion Laser Replacement Parts and Repair. SIC Code 3674, NAICS Code 334413, Size Standard 500 employees. Solicitation Number FA8601-04-T-0070. This is a Sole Source procurement. The synopsis is published for informational purposes only. Solicitation documents are not available. This proposed contract action is for procurement of an item for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1. The proposed source is Coherent, Inc., Santa Clara, CA. The items being procured are: 1 each Innova 310, 10 W Argon Tube, Part Number 1043255; 1 each Zone Charge, 1 each IBU Field Repair Labor Item Number 1048720, 1 each Optics Set Part Number 0163-321-00. Due to the proprietary design specifications on the plasma tube and power supply, only the original manufacturer can complete the repairs. This synopsis is being published for information purposes only. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, the Government will consider any quotations received within five (5) days of the issuance of this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Any quotations should be e-mailed to Ms Jacque Davis at Jacqueline.Davis@wpafb.af.mil or faxed to 937-257-3926 no later than 19 April 2004.
