- The USDA, AMS, COTTON PROGRAM intends to complete a standard competition pursuant to OMB Circular A-76 for Production Assistants to serve in the capacity of general laborers in performing manual tasks in preparing cotton for classification. USDA is seeking to hire 15 laborers for approximately 3,600 hours during a 6 week period. This six week period will take place sometime between May, 2004 and July 2004. NAICS Code 561990 with a small business size standard of $6.0 million. A firm fixed price contract will be awarded. Simplified procurement procedures will be used to solicit Production Assistants for the Memphis TN area. THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPIS/SOLICITATION.
