- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition (FAR) subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The simplified acquisition procedures of FAR Part 13 are applicable to this procurement. Solicitation number 9TFS-04-JEP-008 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The General Services Administration, Federal Technology Service is requesting a quotation for Manpack Radio Headsets that are used for Chest Push-To-Talk (PTT) and Aircraft/Radio Adapters that operates two radios or a radio intercom with a single headset and Dual Radio/Intercom compatible modified for Aircraft PTT function. These headsets provide split earphones to separate incoming signals. It also included electronic hearing capability to enhance ambient sounds with auto shutoff at 85dB. This procurement is in support of Naval Special Warfare Group ONE and their supply requirements are as follows: QTY: 152 GENCOM HEADSET P/N: 01D11423-2; QTY: 152 DUAL RADIO CHEST PUSH-TO-TALK SWITCH P/N: 01C11699-1; QTY: 152 DUAL RADIO REMOTE FINFER PUSH-TO-TALK P/N: 01C11700-1; QTY: 152 PRC-148 URBAN/SINCGAR ASSY - P/N: 01C11719-2;QTY: 152 NAVY/ARINE (MH-53) ASSY P/N: 01B11432-1; QTY: 152 MARITIME PRC-148 MBITR ASSY P/N: 01B11428-1; QTY: 152 ARMY/AIRFORCE HELOS/C-130 ASSY P/N: 01B11429-1; QTY: 152 NAVY/MARINE (SH-60) ASSY P/N: 01B11430-1;QTY: 152 NAVY/MARINE CH-46A ASSY P/N: 01B11431-1; QTY: 152 AMPLIFIER FOR AIRCRAFT COMMS P/N: 02B11527-1. This procurement is unrestricted. The government will award a contract resulting from this RFQ to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to this notice will be most advantageous, representing the best value to the government, price and other factors considered. The Government may award on an all or none basis or make multiple awards if it is in the best interest of the Government. Central Contractor Registration. Offerors must register in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award. Offeror will complete the information in 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items and submit with response to this RFQ. The potential awardee will be required to register in the IT Solutions Shop at http://it-solutions.gsa.gov for the post-award process and the submission of invoices. All quotations must be received by 5:00 PM PST, April 19, 2004 to be considered by the government. No questions will be accepted after 5:00 PM PST, April 19, 2004.
