- Description
- Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division intends to issue a modification to contract N00164-02-C-0059 with the intent of awarding three additional line items for option quantities up to an additional 135 each production hardware kits. The Navy intends to issue the modification with the intent of awarding additional production units for known requirements to support the AN/SLQ-32 System. The additional kits will replace the existing AN/SLQ-32 SRU?s and update existing AN/SLQ-32 operating software. The modification will support the award of additional option quantities, the option quantity of 72 units that were awarded but not exercised and additional first article test units. This modification will be issued on a sole source basis to Northrop Grumman P.R.B., Hollywood, Maryland, in accordance with Federal Acquisition (FAR) 6.302-1(a). It has been determined that the suppl ies and services can only be met by one responsible source and no other supplies and services will satisfy the agency requirements. Northrop Grumman P.R.B. is the only source that possesses the drawings, test procedure and operating software code to manufacture the required kits. Delivery shall be F.O.B. Destination to NSWC Crane Division, Crane Indiana. Inspection and Acceptance shall be at source by the cognizant DCMA Office. Delivery shall be in accordance with the schedule specified in the contract. The modification will be Firm Fixed Priced. Point of contact is Ms. Luann Shelton, telephone 812-854-3711.
