- Description
- The 193rd Special Operations Wing of the Pennsylvania Air National Guard is soliciting bids for the construction of a Special Mission Equipment (SME) Maintenance Facility. The proposed contract Action is open to all size business concerns.This projec t is the construction of a new 14,000 sf high bay, steel frame, single-wythe masonry structure featuring offices, training areas, and shop space. Building elements include architectural masonry, single ply fully adhered EPDM roof on insulated metal deck, f ire protection system, communications/data systems, gas-fired hot water boiler heat, air conditioning, solid state 400 cycle power system for electronics shops, site development, connection to adjacent utilities, landscaping, and paving. The construction r ange will be between ***(PROJ AMT Estimate = $1-5 MIL)***. 100% Performance and 100% Payment Bonds will be required. The solicitation issue date will be around 22 April 2004. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 236220. All fir ms or individuals responding must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). The solicitation package will be issued via web only using the following site http://www.nationalguardcontracting.org/ebs/advertisedsolicitations.asp. All Contractors/ vendors interested in this project must register at the site. All amendments, site visi t minutes, and questions will be posted on the web. There are no charges for the plans and specifications. No facsimile or electronic proposals are authorized.
