- Description
- The 45th CONS is seeking laboratories with the capability to perform atmospheric chamber tests. The tests shall be performed to obtain homogeneous gas-phase rate constants of various chemical surety materials with hydroxyl radicals and nitrate radicals. Qualitative and quantitative reaction product identification will also be required. Additionally, there is a potential need for gas-phase hydrolysis, photolysis, and ozone reaction tests with chemical agents. This contract will require access to and generation of classified material up to the DoD SECRET level. The available funding for five years of this work totals approximately $4 million. The desired response will include details of company experience with atmospheric chamber tests as well as individual personnel qualifications. The response should state if current facilities are certified for chemical surety work as well as the capacity and anticipated availability of the facility. All interested firms should submit a capabilities package that outlines the firm?s capabilities in providing the required services. The capabilities package should be brief and concise, yet clearly demonstrate an ability to meet the stated requirements.
