- Description
- The purpose of this contract is for Road Reconstruction at Margaret Bay. Work includes producing and placing pit run aggregate, mobilization, reconditioning the roadbed, mechanical brushing, excavation, culvert installation, transport, install and rehabilitate Government furnished bridge, repair marine access facility, seeding and fertilizing. The project area is located 20 miles north of Ketchikan, Southeast Alaska. The site is accessible by boat or float plan. The Margaret Bay road system can be accessed by the Forest Service marine access facility located in Traitors Cove off Behm Canal. The estimated price range for this acquisition is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The performance period is 270 days. The solicitation will be posted on FedBizOpps website on or about April 23, 2004 for viewing and printing. Potential offerors are requested to obtain the solicitation from the Internet if at all possible. Alternatively, a hard copy of the solicitation documents may be requested via fax at 907.228.6254. Fax requests should reference solicitation R10-05-04-21. Telephone requests will not be honored. Offers will be due approximately 30 calendar days after the solicitation issue date. AUTOMATIC NOTIFICATION: By registering to receive notification on posted synopses, you will be automatically notified via email of any changes to the project. PLAN HOLDERS LISTS: The Interested Vendors List (IVL) has replaced the plan Holders Lists that was previously available with solicitation packages. Follow this procedure for EACH project of interest.
