Description
This amendment fully replaces the fedbizopps notice posted April 6, 2004. Request for quote issued for quantity of one (1) each US Navy approved and ASME/PVHO certified Hyperlite Emergency Evacuation Hyperbaric Stretcher System (EEHS) Model 24/88/SAT/70, design pressure 30.5 psig, cert pressure 29.4 psig, temperature range-0 F—100F, dimensions 88.4x23.3 wt 120 lbs. This is a portable and collapsible hyperbaric chamber that can be used as a means of transporting and treating diving personnel suffering from decompression sickness or gas embolism. The design and fabrication of the EEHS must meet the current ASME, Pressure Vessels for Human Occupancy (PVHO) requirements. The system shall be capable of operating to a pressure of at least 60 fsw (1.8 bar) a means of pressuring and ventilating the EEHS with air required. The EEHS must also incorporate a means of observing and administering oxygen to the occupant while pressurized and the system must have a medical lock to allow passage of vital goods between the patient and outside tender. The medical lock shall be equipped with an interlock to prevent opening the outside enclosure while pressurized with the outer closure not completely closed. Quotation must include proof of ASME witnessed Certification test of pressure, medical lock, internal drag mattress, lifting sling horizontal(certified), internal absolute pressure gauge, oxygen flask 122 cu. ft. medical cylinder w/CGA 540 fittings and 1 day training for 6 individuals on site NOAA Diving Center Seattle, WA.
