- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition (FAR) subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The simplified acquisition procedures of FAR Part 13 are applicable to this procurement. Solicitation number 9TFS-04-JEP-007 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The General Services Administration, Federal Technology Service is requesting a quotation for components that are used to plug-in boards which form part of a mainframe that is configured to measure unsteady strain gage responses with Turbo propulsion Laboratory?s Spinpit and kulite pressure gages within the Transonic compressor Rig. Data rates up to 200 samples per second are needed on both these rigs, making high-speed data acquisition essential. This procurement is in support of Naval Postgraduate School and their supply requirements are as follows: QTY: 2 EA MODEL: 73-0011-000, VT1433B, 8 CHAN 196 kSa/sec DIGITIZER + DSP; QTY: 1 EA MODEL: 73-0026-000, VT1529B 32 CHAN REMOTE STRAIN CONDITIONING; QTY: 1 EA MODEL: 73-0026-001, VT1529B-001, CABLE FOR VT1433-VT1529; QTY: 1 EA MODEL: 73-0048-000, VT9801B, DAC EXPRESS DATA RECORDER/LOGGER; QTY: 1 EA MODEL: 73-0031-000, VT1503A, GAIN/FILTER SIG CONDITION, PLUG-ON; QTY: 1 EA MODEL: 73-0032-000, VT1505A, CURRENT SOURCE SIG CONDITION, PLUG-ON. This procurement is 100% set-aside for small business. The government will award a contract resulting from this RFQ to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to this notice will be most advantageous, representing the best value to the government, price and other factors considered. The Government may award on an all or none basis or make multiple awards if it is in the best interest of the Government. Central Contractor Registration. Offeror will complete the information in 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items and submit with response to this RFQ. The potential awardee will be required to register in the IT Solutions Shop at http://it-solutions.gsa.gov for the post-award process and the submission of invoices. All quotations must be received by 5:00 PM PST, April 16, 2004 to be considered by the government. No questions will be accepted after 5:00 PM PST, April 16, 2004.
