Description
This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities(FBO) page located at http://www.eps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line(NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. The Naval Sea Systems Command intends to issue a cost plus fixed fee level of effort contract to Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC), 1500 Wall Street, Bellevue, NE 68005, for development and delivery of software modifications to a previously developed SAIC owned Integrated Schedule Database which will include an Integrated Enterprise Master Schedule (IEMS) with dependency capability for the Pacific Missile Range Facility (PMRF) in Kauai, HI. As the developer, SAIC is the only technically qualified source with the requisite knowledge, expertise and experience to provide the IEMS with the required capabilities to PMRF. No other source can modify the SAIC developed software and there is no other known application that will satisfy the Government?s technical requirements, cost and schedule considered. The period of performance will be from date of contract for six months thereafter, with an option for an additional six months. This contract will be awarded pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
