- Description
- The work consists of providing all labor, supervision, tools, materials, equipment required to perform pest control services at the Naval Postgraduate School and Tenant Facilities and Areas, Monterey, California. The operations to be performed include inspection, identification of visible pest damage, location of potential pest infestation, determination of extent of pest problem, and appropriate pest control treatment. The treatment for the elimination and/or control of all nuisance pests shall be provided. The contractor shall be licensed by the State of California Department of Consumer Affairs in Branch I (fumigation) for drywood termite control, Branch II (general pest) for household pest control, and Branch III (termite) for subterranean termite control. The contractor shall also be licensed by the State of California Department of Pesticide Regulation in Category B (landscape maintenance) for insect, rodent, and foliage pest control. The Procurement is set-aside for small business concerns. If insufficient interest is displayed by small business, the solicitation may be re-issued as unrestricted. This is a Firm Fixed Price/ Indefinite Quantity Contract. The maximum amount of work to be ordered per year is $300,000. The contract is for a base year and two (2) - one-year options. The North American Industrial Classification code is 561710 (7342). The entire solicitation will be released solely on the Internet by Electronic Solicitation at http://esol.navfac.navy.mil (paper copies will not be available). Request for Proposal will be available on or about 04 May 2004. Locate the solicitation number N62474-04-R-9313 and follow the instructions for downloading.
