Description
Project consists of the Design and Construction of a new Consolidated Fire and Crash Rescue Station at Wright-Patterson AFB, Greene County, Ohio. The single story building will be approximately 35,000 square feet, with space for apparatus bays, sleep ing rooms, communications rooms, administrative offices, kitchen/dining, equipment and supply storage and miscellaneous support space. Site-work includes paving, utilities, exterior lighting, fencing, landscaping, backup diesel generator and demolition of 4 buildings. This solicitation also contains option items. These items are: 1) larger generator; 2) additional asphalt paving; 3) window blinds; and 4) CCTV cameras and monitor. 20% of the work is to be self-performed. This solicitation is a Request for P roposal (RFP). Proposals received in response to this solicitation will be evaluated for best value to the Government in accordance with the following criteria listed in descending order of importance: Contractor Experience; Key Personnel; Contractor Past Performance; Conceptual Sketches and Narrative; Project Management; Technical Approach Narrative; Subcontracting Information, and Price. All evaluation factors, other than cost or price, when combined, are equal to cost or price. The price range is $5,000, 000 to $10,000,000. This project is available by downloading from the Internet only. The project specification files are Portable Document Format (PDF) files and can be viewed, navigated, or printed using Adobe Acrobat Reader. The drawing files are in CAL format and can be viewed, navigated, or printed using Source View Reader. Both readers are contained on the website. Minimum system requirements are 486-based personal computer, Microsoft Windows 3.1 or greater and 8 MB application RAM.
