- Sources Sought 469th Air Base Group Contracting Office, Rhein-Main Air Base, Germany is in the process of soliciting non-personal services for Guard Services on Rhein-Main AB. The magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 561612, Security Guards and Patrol Services, with a size standard of $10.5 Million. This procurement will be awarded based on Past Performance and Price. Project scope consists of providing armed security guard service at Rhein-Main Air Base, Germany. Work includes, but is not limited to, the following: Providing security guard services for North and South Entry Control Points (ECP). During contingency operations, performance may be required at other installation locations. The period of performance will cover a one-year base period with one (1) three-month option. The Government expects to make an award on or about 31 August 2004, with a performance start date of 1 October 2004. This acquisition will be issued as a Request For Proposal (RFP) on or about 19 April 2004. Draft Statement of Work (SOW) will be posted on FedBizOps starting on or about 12 April 04. Interested parties should review these documents and provide any comments via e-mail to this office. The Air Force will consider and respond to all inputs received. Industry response is encouraged to ensure all parties have maximum opportunity to participate in this acquisition. The Government plans to use the Internet and e-mail as the primary means of disseminating and exchanging information. Hard copies will not be made available. You must register on the site mentioned above to receive notification fo changes to the solicitation. You will need the viewers for Microsoft Word (.doc), Acrobat Reader (.pdf) and Source View. Interested small businesses who are certified and qualified as a small business concern in NAICS 561612 are encouraged to respond and submit their notification to this office NLT COB on 12 May 2004. Responding small businesses may later be required to submit a capabilities package outlining their capabilities in key areas as determined by the Government and relevant to the performance of this requirement. All potential bidders are reminded, in accordance with DFARS 252.204-7004, Required Central Contractor Registration, lack of registration in the CCR will make that bidder ineligible for award.
