- Description
- This is a synopsis for a commercial acquisition (Reference FAR Part 12 and 13). The required items is for 1 each cooling tower, manufactured by Marley Cooling Technologies, part number NC8305E. The Government intends to award this requirement as a brand name only basis. No other equal cooling towers will be accepted. The Marley Cooling Technologies model is the only type of unit that is capable of fulfilling the governmnet's requirement based on extensive market research. The cooling tower is an integral part of the existing cooling tower system and must configure to the existing electrical, structural, and piping systems. Delivery will be made to Patrick AFB Fl. The government intends to make a singel award to the lowest priced technically acceptable offeror. This proposed procurement is a 100% small business set-aside. Solicitation No. FA2521-04-T-0137 is issued as a Request for Quotation. It is advertised with a Standard Industrial Code (SIC) of 5075, business size of 500 employees and a North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 423720. All current GSA Schedule holders for this item/service are encouraged to provide us with their GSA Schedule number. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. The solicitation will be issued electronically on or about 7 Apr 04 on www.eps.gov. Proposals may be submitted via hard copy, fax (321-494-5136), or e-mail. NO HARD COPIES OF THE SOLICITATION WILL BE ISSUED FOR ANY REASON. Anticipated award date will be on or around 13 Apr 04.
