- Description
- This is a synopsis for a commercial acquisition (Reference FAR 12 and 13). The required asset is one 1.5 HP Comminutor Assembly to include gearmotor, Chicago Pump 25M or equal. The Comminutor is a shredding or grinding device that reduces the size of gross suspended materials in wastewater, without removing them from the liquid. The asset will be delivered to the TRANSPORTATION OFFICER - FE2520, BLDG 822, PATRICK AFB FL 32925-5270, BETWEEN 7:30AM-3:30PM. Asset must be delivered within 18 weeks after award. Delivery terms will be FOB Destination. The government intends to make a single award to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offeror. The proposed procurement is a 100% Small Business Set-aside. Solicitation FA2521-04-T-0152 is issued as a Request for Quotation. It is advertised with a Standard Industrial Code (SIC) of 3589-business size of 500 employees and a North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 333319. All current GSA schedule holders for this item are encouraged to provide us with their GSA schedule number. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by this agency. The solicitation will be issued electronically on or about 8 April 2004 at www.eps.gov.
