- A fixed quantity, firm-fixed price contract is contemplated for National Stock Number (NSN): 2840-01-308-4461NZ; Pratt & Whitney part number: 4079144; NOUN: Inlet Aircraft Cone; Quantity Ranges: Minimum 11 each and Medium 21 each; Required Delivery: 4 each in October 2004, November 2004, December 2004, and January 2005, and 5 each in February 2005; Destination: Ship to FB2039; Size and Dimensions: 12.985? x 9.367?; Predominant Material: AMS 491 Titanium Alloy; Form, Fit and Function: used on F100-PW-229 Engine; Qualification requirements are available for this Part Number upon request. Qualification information can be obtained from OC-ALC/BC, Attention: Source Development Office, 3001 Staff Drive, Suite 1AG85A, Tinker, AFB 73145-3009, (405) 739-7243 or (405) 739-7244. Anticipated issuance of the solicitation is 15 days after posting of this notice. A copy of the solicitation can be downloaded from FEDBIZOPPS as soon as the Air Force releases the solicitation. Award date is estimated to be on or about 20 May 2004. The Government plans to negotiate sole-source using a written quotation with United Technologies Corp Pratt & Whitney, 400 Main Street Mail Stop 182-14, East Hartford CT 06108, under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), as Pratt & Whitney is the only approved source.
