Description

The purpose of this modification to the presolicition notice posted 15 Mar 04 is to provide additional information. The site visit is scheduled for 8 Apr 04 at 10:00 AM. Your escort will meet you at the Kenney Gate (Flag Gate)and take you to Building 41. Solicitation number FA4600-04-B-0005 is issued as an Invitation for Bid (IFB). This project consists of repairing, and updating an existing elevator cab and updating the existing elevator mechanical room. Some demolition of existing structure is required. The project involves one elevator for three floors and will require new electrical, mechanical, and interior finishes. The performance period for this project is 90 days. This solicitation is to be competed on a full and open basis. Specifications and drawings will be available at the site visit. Contractors are advised to monitor this website for any updates and/or changes. All potential bidders must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) as prescribed in DFARS 252.2004-7004 prior to award. If not already registered in CCR, go to www.ccr.gov to register prior to submitting a bid. The contactor shall also ensure their CCR reflects the NAICS Code indicated for this solicitation.
