- Description
- (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in the notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) Solicitation FA4800-04-T-0008 is issued as a Commercial Solicitation with Request for Quotation (RFQ) using Simplified Acquisition Procedures found in FAR Part 13. (iii) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-20. (iv) This is a small business set-aside. The NAICS code is 332439 and the size standard is 500 employees (v) The 1st Contracting Squadron, Langley AFB, VA has a requirement for the following items: CLIN 0001 High Security Storage Container Quantity, Quantity: 3, Unit: Each. (vi) Description of basic requirements to be acquired: High Security Storage Container from AAR Mobility Systems P/N 56191-000. vii) Delivery: Desired date of delivery: NLT 15 May 2004. Place of delivery for acceptance and FOB point will be Langley AFB, VA 23665. Contractor shall state FOB delivery days, ARO if delivery cannot be made by 15 May 2004. (viii) The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial, applies to this acquisition. (ix) The Government will award a firm-fixed price contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government on price and price related factors. (x) Offerors are reminded to include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items with its offer.
