Description

The VA Healthcare Network Upstate New York is seeking to contract with a qualified contractor to provide BACK-UP COVERAGE ONLY for professional reading/coverage for the Radiology Department, VA Healthcare Network Upstate New York (VISN 2), 113 Holland Avenue, Albany, NY 12208 by Board Certified Radiologist(s). The Contractor?s Radiology Group shall provide professional reading/coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the contract on an AS NEEDED BASIS ONLY secondary to absence of VA staff related to vacation, sick leave, authorized and emergency absence for or as requested for consultation by VA Lead Radiologist. The Contractor shall be requested to provide SOME ON-SITE radiologist coverage upon request by the VA Lead Radiologist during regular working hours. The proposed contract period will be for the period May 1, 2004 (or date of contract award) through April 30, 2005. The proposed contract will be a firm-fixed price contract. Solicitation is available electronically; request for paper copies must be made in writing via US Postal. Service.
