Description
This is for a firm fixed-price Indefinite Delivery - Indefinite Quantity contract with a 7-year ordering period for: Translating Cowl Assembly, applicable to the C-5 aircraft. NSN: 1560-01-502-2884UC; NOUN: Translating Cowl Assembly; P/N: 9667M27G26, QTY: Order Minimum of 1 each and Order Maximum of 116 each for Initial Ordering Period and Order Minimum of 1 each and Order Maximum of 84 each for additional Ordering Periods . DIM: 102” Height x 102” Width x 40” Depth. MATL: Aluminum. FUNC: Reverses engine thrust. DLVY: First Article due 360 days after contract award. Contract maximum quantity is 620 each. The approximate solicitation issue date will be 16 Jan 2004 with the approximate response date of 3 March 2004. Solicitation will be available for viewing or downloading at www.fedbizopps.gov . A website has been established for this requirement and is available for viewing at http://pkec.robins.af.mil/, under “TF39 Spares.” No telephone requests. NO HARD COPIES WILL BE ISSUED. All responsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered. This acquisition may/does involve technology that has a military or space application. The only US contractors who may participate are those that are certified and registered with DLSC (1-800-352-3572) and have a legitimate business purpose. US contractors must submit a copy of their current, approved DD Form 2345 with their request for password access. To request this certification, write to the Commander, Defense Logistics Services Center, ATTN: DLSC-FEB, Federal Center, Battle Creek, MI 49017-3084 and request a copy of Dept. of Defense Form 2345 or call DLSC at the above number. The data package will be made available to the data custodian identified in block 3 of the DD Form 2345. The extent of foreign participation has not yet been determined. MOU country sources must contact the Contracting Officer within 15 calendar days of the date of this synopsis notice to receive a copy of the solicitation at the time it is initially issued. Issuance of the RFP will not be delayed to review requests from MOU country sources received after 15 days or from non-MOU country sources. See Numbered Note 8.
