- ?This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities(FBO) page located at http://www.eps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line(NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command.? The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Div. Newport has a Small Business set aside procurement for Capsule Loading Covers, which are used to protect the TOMAHAWK Capsule Launching System Capsule Closure Assembly during handling, shipping, and storage. A Fixed Priced contract is anticipated. A First Article test item will be procured and, if deemed acceptable, an additional quantity of 169. NUWC drawings will be provided along with the solicitation, which is expected to be available no earlier than 16 April 2004. The last purchase of this item was under contract N6660492CC049 in 1992 to The Entwistle Co. for a quantity of 235 at a cost of $2,000 each.
