Description

The Government proposes to procure on a sole source basis the remanufacture of CH-47F and MH-47G aircraft to include Over and Above, Recapitalized Components, Long Lead Items and Initial Spares. The anticipated award is for 16 aircraft total, 4 CH-47 F Models and 12 MH-47G Models in Lot 3, with options for Lot 4 and Long Lead Items for Lot 5. The intended source is The Boeing Company, Ridley Park, Pennsylvania which is the Prime Manufacturer of the CH/MH-47F/G Helicopter. The authority to use other t han full and open competition is FAR 6.302-1. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. See Numbered Notes: 22.
