- Description
- The purpose of this amendment is to reinstate what was originally Amendment 0001 regarding restrictive competition. Due to a computer error, the Amendment was overrode by the Amendment to change the response date of the solicitation. The original amendment is reinstated as Amendment 0003 as follows: In accordance with 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(3), as implemented by FAR 6.302-3, competition for this procurement is restricted to the United States and Canada. Because of the Government's extensive prior development efforts in the field of high energy pulsed power supply technology, the Government has decided to release a Pulsed Power Supply (PPS) Technology Summary, to interested offerors, as soon as this solicitation is released. Due to the restriction on competition for this effort and the fact that Electromagnetic Gun (EM) technology has been identified as a developing military critical technology, all contractors that desire the Government's information package are required to submit an approved DD Form 2345, "Military Critical Technical Data Agreement" with their request for this information. After receipt of the DD Form 2345, a nondisclosure agreement will be sent to the contractor for signature. This may be signed and faced to the Government. Upon receipt, the Government will mail a copy of the PPS information.
