- The Army Contracting Agency, Southern Region Contracting Center - East (ACA-SRCC-E),Fort McPherson, GA intends to issue a solicitation for lawn/grounds maintenance services for Fort McPherson, GA and Fort Gillem, GA. Work will include but is not lim ited to grass cutting, edging, pruning, cultivation, mulching, fertilization, trash/litter collection and disposal, ditch cleaning, fence line maintenance, tree and stump removal, erosion control, irrigation, grassing, siding, herbicide application and oth er miscellaneous services are included. The approximate area to be maintained is 33,484,249 square feet. This requirement will be issued as a commercial service. Request for proposal (RFP), utilizing best value procedures, with 100% set-aside for hub-zo ne businesses. Resultant contract will be a firm fixed price contract for a base period, with three one-year option periods. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 561730 with a Small Business size standard of $6.0 million. Th e solicitation will be issued electronically on or about 26 April 2004 and can be downloaded at www.forscom.army.mil/aacc/CurrentOps/default.htm. A copy of the solicitation may also be requested via e-mail to www.braswelp@forscom.army.mil. The request m ust state the solicitation number, contractor's name, street address, telephone number and point of contract. Paper copies will not be available and telephone requests will not be accepted. Contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registr ation (CCR) prior to award of any contract.
