- NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: F13CSQ40510400. The 3rd Contracting Squadron, Elmendorf AFB, AK intends to award a sole source purchase order to Thunderbolt Systems, 3289 Spring Grove Ave, Cincinnati Ohio, 45225. Items to be rented: Sixty-Five (65) wireless UHF microphones, sound augmentation system, and all support equipment necessary to equalize, operate, maintain, monitor, adjust, and integrate into a complete audio package that allows attendees to simply pick up a microphone and talk with no additional action required on their part. The contractor shall ensure that the audio system remains distortion and feedback free the entire eveining with all microphones ?on? continiously. This purchase will be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 6.302-1. The anticipated award date is 19 Apr 04. This notice is neither a request for competitive proposals nor a solicitation of offers. A determination by the government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The closing date for this Synopsis is 9 April 04 at 8:00 AM Alaska Standard Time.
