- Description
- This is a solicitation for Turbine Frame B-Nut Time Compliance Technical Order (TCTO) kits for F110-GE-100/100B engines. CLIN 0001 is for NSN: 2840K0218456APR, P/N 737L707G01, Kit, Oil Supply Tube Mod, 300 EA. CLIN 0001 consists of the following P/N's 2159M27G01, 2158M64G01, MS9556-16, J626P03, 1153M26G13, & 1675M54P01. Kit, P/N 737L707Go1, consists of an aft sump oil supply tube, redesigned to be compatible with the new turbine frame oil supply tube, and the hardware required to install it on the engine. This tube connects to the outer end of the turbine frame oil supply tube via a "B" nut connection. CLIN 0002 is for NSN: 2840K0218457APR, P/N 737L706G01, Kit, Oil Supply Tube Mod, 300 EA. CLIN 0002 consists of the following P/Ns: 1783M93G01, 1784M59P01, 1784M60P01, 1675M78P02, 1783M94G01, J643P09A, &J979P03. Kit, P/N 737L706G01, consists of a redesigned turbine frame oil supply tube and the hardware required to install it in the turbine frame. The new tube is brazed into the turbine frame sump at the inner end, and is attached to the aft sump oil supply tube at the outer end via a "B"nut connection. Delivery is 26 ea beginning Jan 2005. Ship to is FB2039, TAFB. Electronic procedure will be used for this solicitation. Request for Written Quotation will be issued to General Electric Corp. The anticipated award date will be 60 days after the issuance of this notice. The proposed contract action is for supplies and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one, or a limited number of sources under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty five-days (thirty days if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A Determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Award will be made only if the offeror, the product/service, or the manufacturer meets qualification requirements at the time of award in accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1. The solicitation identifies the office where additional information can be obtained concerning qualification requirements as cited in each individual solicitation. It is suggested that small business firms or others interested in subcontracting opportunities in connection with the described procurement make contact with the firm(s) listed. See Note(s) 22.
