- Description
- Potential sources sought. The Coast Guard is seeking qualified sources to consider in an award of a contract for centrifugal pumps. Parts are manufactured by Blackmer System One. The centrifugal pumps that are installed on 378? Ft. Coast Guard vessels. The items are as follows: a. NSN 4320-01-492-8238, Centrifugal pump b. NSN 4320-01-505-2067, Centrifugal pump, c. NSN 4320-01-505-2071, Centrifugal pump, d. NSN 4320-01-505-2078. Various quantities--Delivery will be F.O.B. Destination, U.S. Coast Guard YARD, Baltimore, MD. It is the Government's belief that the items required can only be obtained from authorized distributor MAN B&W Diesel (Houston), Inc. If there are other authorized distributors, you are required to provide authorized distributorship from Blackmer System One to the U.S. Coast Guard within 15 days of this announcement. However, other potential sources having the expertise and required capabilities can submit such data discussing the same in duplicate within 15 days from the date of this announcement. The following information must be provided to evaluate the acceptability of the offered parts: 1) Complete and current engineering data to demonstrate the acceptability of the offered parts (i.e. salient physical, functional and serviceability characteristics), or 2) Data that the offered parts have been satisfactorily manufactured for the government or the original equipment manufacturer.
