- The Command and Control Engineering Center (C2CEN), USCG intends to purchase on a non-competitive basis with BBG INCORPORATED, of Chesapeake VA for spare parts for the Data Converter Unit (DCU) manufactured by BBG, Inc.. This procurement will be processed in accordance with FAR Part 13. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. This proposed action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one (1) source under the authority of FAR Subpart 6.302-1(a)(ii). A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice received would be considered, solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The items are to be delivered to United States Coast Guard Command and Control Engineering Center, 4000 Coast Guard Blvd, Portsmouth VA, 23703. The requirement is to purchase Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) parts. The items are QTY 08 EA Dual Universal Conversion Engine w/Synchro and Serial Input/Output for USCG DCU Train and Elevation, P/N BBG-7144-DCU-TR-EL; QTY 05 EA Dual Univeral Conversion Engine w/Synchro Input and Serial Output for USCG DCU Gyro Compass, P/N: BBG-7144-DCU-GY; QTY 05 EA Dual Universal Conversion Engine w/ Synchro Input, Analog Input and Serial Output for USCG DCU Anemometer, P/N BBG-DCU-7144-AN; QTY 05 EA Loop Back Relay Module for USCG-DCU, P/N: BBG-DCU-RELAY2; QTY 08 EA Signal Detector Module for USCG-DCU, P/N: BBG SIG-DET; QTY 03 EA USCG DCU Train/Elevation Prom with Firmware, P/N: BBG-DCU-TR-EL-PROM; QTY 03 EA USCG DCU Gyro Compass/Anemometer Prom with Firmware P/N: BBG-DCU-GY-AN-PROM; QTY 05 EA USCG DCU Power Supply, P/N: BBG-DCU-PS; QTY 08 EA USCG DCU Display with Cable, P/N: BBG-DCU-DISPLAY. The NAICS is 334290; the size standard is 1,000 employees. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes.
