- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The synopsis/solicitation is issued as an Request for Quotation (RFQ) and the Request for Quotation (RFQ) number is 04-0373. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 22. This procurement action is 100% set-aside for small businesses. And the associated NAICS code is and small business size standard is 500. The BEP requests quotations for Electric Walk-behind Pallet Jack; 4,500 Lb. capacity; fork length 48 inches; fork width, 22 inches; 24-volt battery pack with built in charger; spring loaded stabilizing casters; transistor controller; turtle torque low speed power; LED display; battery discharge indicator; PIN code keyless access; crush-resistant control handle; reversing switch in handle; automatic resetting power circuit breaker; rubber drive tire. Quotes submitted must meet all of the criteria above. Provide descriptive literature for the item quoted. The BEP requires delivery not later than April 30, 2004 to the following address: Bureau of Engraving & Printing, 14th & C ST SW, Washington, DC 20228 and delivery shall be FOB Destination to the delivery address. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, applies to this acquisition and any addenda attached to the provision. The provision at 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition and the specific evaluation criteria to be included in paragraph (a) of that provision are: All offerors responding to this solicitation shall include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, with its offer. The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition and any addenda attached to the clause. The attached Simplified Acquisition Terms & Conditions apply to this acquisition. Quotes are due April 8, 2004 not later than 2:00 pm Est. time.
