- Description
- The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center San Diego (SSC-SD) intends to pursue and negotiate through other then full and open competition a contract with DRS Technical Services Inc. The purpose of this proposed contract action is to develop and apply the BMACS and Packet Shaper flow control device to strengthen OTH-T products and support C4I problem solution engineering. DRS previously performed this work under BPA order# N66001-04-F-4002 (GS-35F-0056J), and is uniquely qualified to further the technical development and support for the OTH-T program utilizing BMACS and the PacketShaper flow control device to support Interoperability Testing support, Reconfigurable Land Based Test Site (RLBTS) laboratory enhancements, and C4I problem solution engineering. Period of performance is for eight (8) months beginning in approximately May 2004. This will be a bridge contract that is supported by a competitive acquisition currently in process. Task orders will be issued on an Indefinite Delivery - Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) basis, in order to sustain discrete tasks to meet on-going and emerging requirements. Potential value of the total contract effort is estimated at $200,000.
