- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented, with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement is set-aside 100% for small business entities. This is a request for competitive proposals. Interested persons may submit proposals no later than 2 April 2004, 4:00pm CST. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-21. The NAICS is 332999 and the business size standard is 500 employees. This solicitation is issued as a request for quotes (RFQ). Submit written offers (oral offers will not be accepted), on RFQ F7SPT240610300. The 12th Contracting Squadron at Randolph AFB, TX, intends to award the purchase of two (2) Courtesy Docks and installation in accordance with the attached Statement of Work (SOW). Place of performance shall be Canyon Lake, TX. See attached statement of work for particulars. Award will be made using Simplified Acquisition Procedures, therefore the evaluation procedures at FAR 13.106-2 will be used. A firm-fixed price award will be made to the responsible offeror submitting the quote that provides the best value to the government. Interested parties capable of providing the above must submit a written price quote to include discount terms. All responses will be considered. To be eligible to receive an award resulting from this solicitation, contractor must be registered in the DoD Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database, NO EXCEPTIONS. To register, you may apply through the Internet at http://www.ccr2000.com/. Responses to this notice shall be provided in writing via e-mail to SSgt Larry D. James, Jr. at larry.james@randolph.af.mil. NO LATER THAN 2 APRIL 2004 at 4:00 P.M. (CST).
