- Description
- The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) intends to award a fixed unit price Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract for the services of aircraft observers and equipment operators who will accompany DEA Special Agent/Pilots on surveillance missions. It is anticipated an observer will be needed at each of the following locations: Boston, MA; Houston, TX; Phoenix, AZ; Los Angeles, CA; Ft. Lauderdale, FL; Fairfield, NJ; Atlanta, GA; New Orleans, LA; Detroit, MI; and Chicago, IL. Observers will perform air to ground surveillance from fixed wing and rotor wing aircraft and will operate flir, wescam, and other photographic, direction finding and audiovisual equipment. A time and materials type task order will be issued as specific sites are confirmed and funds become available. The period of performance is five years. Competition is limited to small business. The Solicitation will be issued on or about June 11, 2004, and will be posted electronically on the DEA Website www.dea.gov . Interested parties will be responsible for monitoring the DEA Website to obtain the most current information regarding this acquisition. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be provided. The closing date is expected to be July 13, 2004 at no later than 3:00 p.m. local prevailing time, depending on the date of the actual release of the solicitation.
