Description
The Program Support Center has a requirement for the Office on Womens Health to solicit for contractors to develop, coordinate and implement a minority womens health conference. Specifically, the contractor shall develop, coordinate and implement a one-day minority womens health conference focusing on diabetes, cardiovascular disease, cancer and/or HIV/AIDS education. The primary intent is for the conference to target women from racial and ethnic minority populations (African American, Asian American, Pacific Islander, Hispanic/Latina American, Native American and Alaska Native). THIS IS NOT A GRANT. This requirement is being solicited and awarded under FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 624190 and the size standard is $6 million. The award will be a CONTRACT; i.e. PURCHASE ORDER. The Government anticipates making multiple awards from this solicitation not to exceed six (6) to eight (8) awards. The period of performance is one year from date of award. A Request for Quotation (RFQ) will be posted approximately 10 days following the posting of this synopsis. Responses will be due 30 days from the date the RFQ is posted.
