Description

The U. S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), PPQ (Plant Protection and Quarantine) National Logistics Warehouse, Kansas City, MO intends to procure 800 cases of disposable white Tyvek Coveralls with zipper front in size 3XL. Packed 25 per case, outer cases to be labeled with purchase order number and stock number. Brand name or equal. Delivery shall be FOB Destination to Kansas City, MO. Award will be subject to First Article Approval-Government inspection and acceptance at destination made to the lowest technically acceptable priced responsive responsible offeror. QUOTATIONS ARE DUE BY APRIL 16, 2004 BY 12:00 p.m. CENTRAL TIME. Submit written or faxed quotation to Purchasing Section Attn: Gloria Benson, at (612) 370-2136. Simplified Procurement Procedures will be used as well as Commercial Item Acquisition regulations per FAR 12. This is a Small Business Set-Aside under NAICS Code 339113. THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED.
