Description

The U.S. Coast Guard intends to solicit, and award a sole source procurement to Signal Intelligence, in San Jose, CA . The Coast Guard has a requirement to procure 6 ea LF-HF DSP Receivers (modified). Going Sole Source with Signal Intelligence Inc, as they are the only source compatible with existing network. Signal Intelligence software package is proprietary to run the network. Receivers shall include rack slides kits, and manufacturers warranty. The Coast Guard has determined therefore that competition is not available. If no responses are received within fifteen (15) days with sufficient information to determine that another responsible source is available, negotiations will be conducted with Signal Intelligence. Performance shall be in accordance with the standards contained in applicable purchase order clauses contained in the award. This solicitation will be small business set-aside. The NAICS Code is 334220. The size standard is 750 employees. The contract type will be firm fixed price. Negotiations with Signal Intelligence will begin on or about 12 April 2004.
