- Description
- This procurement is 100% small business set aside. The Oregon Army National Guard is in need of having catered meals provided at the training site located at Camp Rilea, Building 7025, Warrenton, Oregon. The selected contractor is to provide prepare d meals, to include condiments, plates, utensils, and napkins. The selected contractor will be serving approximately 147 breakfast meals on the dates of April 24-27, 2004 and May 3-7, 2004, and 157 breakfasts each day from April 28 to May 2, 2004. Dinner meals to be served each day will be approximately 147 meals each day from April 23- 27, 2004 and May 2-6, 2004 and 157 dinners each day from April 28 to May 1, 2004. Performance period is to commence with dinner on April 23, 2004 and ends with breakfast on May 7, 2004. The estimated total meals to be served is 2,108 for breakfast and 2,098 for dinner. The maximum allowable cost is $7.00 for breakfast and $9.00 for dinner. All products used in any portion of the meal must meet the minimum Federal/State requirements for that particular meal. The breakfast meals as a minimum need to consist of a main entre (meat), two sides, oatmeal, fresh fruit, milk, coffee, tea and fruit juice. The dinner meals as a minimum need to consist of a main dish (meat), two sides (one must be a vegetable), fresh salad, fresh fruit, dessert, milk, coffee, tea and punch. In addition, the selected contractor will have the option of either providing their own mobile kitchen or having Government furnished kitchen provided. If th e selected contractor opts to use Government provided kitchen, the contractor will be bound by the terms and conditions as outlined in the solicitation. Contractors are to indicate in their submission if they intend to use Government furnished property. Requests for Quotations (RFQ) should be available on or about April 1, 2004. The due date for the Request for Quotations (RFQ) is April 9, 2004 by close of business to this office, USPFO for Oregon, ATTN: USPFO-P, PO Box 14350, 1776 Militia Way SE, Salem, OR 97309-5047. To have a qualifying quote the contractor must submit two (2) samples of breakfast and dinner menus with their quote and be registered on the Central Contractors Registration database (CCR).
