Description

The Air Force intends to issue a solicitation to install two line stops and gate valves and boxes, four couplings for A/C to C900, and install two twenty-foot sections of C900 water main pipe to replace existing asbestos line. The water main will have to remain in a live-flow status while the new valves are being installed. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and services necessary to complete this job. The solicitation will be issued on 16 December 2003 with a response date/time of 19 December 2003/3PM EST. All contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to be eligible for award. The procurement is 100% small business set-aside. NAICS code is 221310 with a Size Standard of $6,000,000 in gross annual revenues. Services will be procured pursuant to the requirements in FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The RFP will be posted via the Internet at www.eps.gov. Interested parties must obtain copies of the RFP from the Internet; no copies will be mailed. Telephone requests to obtain RFPs will not be honored. This modification to this solicitation reflects a change in the Solicitation Issue date from 8 December 2003 to 16 December 2003, a change in Response date/time from 12 December 2003 to 19 December 2003, a change in the NAICS code from 238910 to 221310, and a change in Size Standard from $12,000,000 to $6,000,000 in gross annual revenues. In addition, the following sentence has been added. The water main will have to remain in a live-flow status while the new valves are being installed.
