- NA The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division (NSWCCD), has a requirement for renewal of two (2) licenses of each USAERO, VSAERO, OMNI3D, and SPIN (g) software, which it intends to purchase through Analytical Methods Inc. (AMI) of Redmond, WA. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. AMI is the sole owner, developer, maintainer, and distributor of USAERO, VSAERO, OMNI3D, and SPIN (g) and has not licensed any other vendor to perform these functions. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTATIONS. However, all responsible sources submitting offers will be considered. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government . Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
