- Description
- Construction of a 6.5 acre redevelopment site at the intersection of the SR 80 connector and SR 1428. Approximately 800,000 cubic yards of material (mostly) rock will be evacuated and transported 1.5 miles over existing highways to the spoil site lo cated at Mayo Hollow. The redevelopment and spoil sites will be cleared of all vegetation prior to constructing any features. The contractor will be required to maintain traffic on SR 1428 at the redevelopment and spoil sites. Revisions including paving for 600-ft. of SR 1428 will be constructed to the redevelopment site and will include two MSE remaining walls (maximum height is approximately 35-ft). Storm drainage features, and water and sanitary sewer service will be provided for the site. Seeding a nd landscaping for the redevelopment site will also be required. The length of construction is estimated to be 912 days. The cost range of this project is between $10,000,000.00 and $25,000,000.00. Solicitation documents will be available April 12, 2004 . There will be no charge for solicitation documents. Delivery shall be 912 days after date of receipt of notice to proceed. This procurement is open to all businesses regardless of size. To be eligible for contract award, a firm must be registered in the DoD Central Contractor Registration (CCR).
