- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation W911S2-04-T-0047 is issued as a Request for Quote. This solicitation is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures specified in Part 13 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). Solicitation documents and incorporated pro visions are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-16. The standard industrial code is 5084 (NAICS code 423830) and the business size standard is 500 Employees. This procurement is solicited as Reserved for Small Business Concerns. The Request for Quote will be evaluated based on specifications submitted for equipment, features, and overall capabilities, price, and responsible offer/quote. DESC: Furnish and Deliver the following to Fort Drum NY: Industrial Heavy Duty brush Cutter/Shredder, 200 horsepower minimum, four-wheel drive, minimum 8 feet cutting width, capable of reducing trees and shrub up to 8 to 10 inches in diameter to mulch , hydrostatic drive system with multiple attachment capability, cab with heater and air conditioning,, windshield wiper/washer, retrieving winch, 2 high/low beam headlights, rear beam lights, rear brake/tail lights, turn signal and flashers. Cold weather equipt with engine block heater, hydraulic tank heater, cold weather starting disconnect clutch. Operator and Maintenance manuals. Provide Training: startup, operator, and maintenance instruction. CONTRACTOR SUBMITTING A QUOTE MUST PROVIDE SPECIFICA TIONS FOR EQUIPMENT BEING QUOTED FOR EVALUATION PURPOSES. If quoted price is not delivered to Fort Drum, NY ?????? must provide shipping costs.
