Description

This is a notice that the 99th Contracting Squadron intends to award a Sole Source contract modification to Transport International Pool, Inc, DBA GE Capital Modular Space, Devon, PA. This is a follow-on modification to extend services for the CAOC Modular Trailer Complex Lease at Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada. There is a reasonable basis to conclude that substantial duplication of cost to the Government would incur that would not be recovered should this work be competed. To use any source other than GE Capital Modular Space would involve significant, additional cost and time required to modify commercially available trailers, and negatively affect current operations and mission requirements at Nellis AFB, NV. This notice is not a request for proposal nor a solicitation for offers. A determination not to compete this proposed procurement based on response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
