- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution, Miami, Florida, intends to issue solicitation RFQ 30903-0013 for the requirements of stainless steel tubes and angles. The solicitation is set-aside 100% for small business, FOB Destination. The contract type is a firm-fixed price. The Government reserves the right to make single or multiple awards. The solicitation will be made available on or about March 30, 2004. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is April 6, 2004. The anticipated award date is April 13, 2004. Payment will be made using electronic funds transfer (EFT). Each offer must include a completed copy of the FAR Provisions at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications (April 2002) with its offer to be considered responsible. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations have the right to submit offers/bids equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. The solicitation will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration?s Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/ . Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site.
