- Description
- The USDA, Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), Veterinary Services (VS), intends to issue multiple Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs) in accordance with FAR Part 13.303, for the humane euthanasia of scrapie exposed sheep and goats and /or disposal of these carcasses in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations. There may be a need for facilities in multiple locations throughout the United States. Facilities may be utilized on an "as needed" basis. Orders against the BPA's will be on a fixed-price basis in accordance with FAR Part 12.207. The Government is obligated only to the extent of authorized purchases actually made under the BPA. Preference will be given to small businesses over large business concerns in accordance with FAR Part 19.202-1. The applicable NAIC Code is 311613 with a small business standard of 500 employees.
