Description
NAICS Code: 421490 NAICS Code 421490. The US EPA, has a need for a wireless/remote air monitoring system. Since the 9/11, terrorist attacks, the EPA has a need to respond rapidly to terrorist events at different locations throughout the nation with state of the art technologies. This instrument will allow EPA personnel to detect and identify, in real time, hazardous gases and volatile chemical from a remote location. The instrument can simultaneous control and display reading from multiple detectors. It is the government's intent to award a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) in accordance with FAR Parts 6,12, 13, 15, as appropriate, as a sole source BPA to Rae Systems, 1339 Moffett Park Drive, Sunnyvale, CA 94089. EPA estimates the procurement will range between $200,000 - $400,000. Request for Quote RFQ-DC-04-00098, WILL BE RELEASED ON OR ABOUT MARCH 23, 2004. Be advised that there maybe multiple ship to or delivery destinations. For example, the destinations could be one or all of the following; Boston, MA; New York, NY; Phil, PA; Atlanta, GA; Chicago, IL; Dallas, TX; Kansas City, KS; Denver, CO; San Francisco, CA; Seattle, WA; Edison, NJ; or Las Vegas, NV Offerors shall submit a complete price list of items and accessories related to the stated requirement for review. The submission of the price list does not obligate the government to purchase items from the vendor. The purpose of the FedBizops announcement is to (1) notify potential offerors of EPA's requirement; (2) to give potential offeror an opportunity to submit a response within the specified time frame; (3) to direct parties to the "EPA's "Doing Business with EPA" website @ http://www.epa.gov/oam for father information and updates.
