- Description
- The Fleet & Industrial Supply Center, Puget Sound is soliciting for all labor, material, transportation, equipment and supervision required to supply temporary fencing needs at various locations in Washington and Oregon in support of Commander, Navy Region Northwest. Contract shall be for a base period of performance from the date of award through 30 September 2004, with the possibility of three one-month option periods. The 100% small business set-aside (NAICS 332618) commercial solicitation will be issued on or about 29 March 2004 with a closing date of 9 April 2004. Proposed contract to be procured using commercial Simplified Acquisition procedures in accordance with Far Part 12 and 13.5. The Government anticipates award of a single firm fixed price service contract. Prospective offerors not CCR-registered should immediately begin the registration process. The solicitation will be posed to the NECO web site: www.neco.navy.mil under ?Business Opportunities? under solicitation number ?N00406-04-T-1470?. The Government will NOT distribute hard-copy solicitations or amendments. The Government will not mail, fax, or e-mail the solicitation or any amendments thereto. Subsequent amendments, if any, will be transmitted solely via the NECO web site. Prospective offerors are responsible for checking the NECO web site early and periodically for any solicitation amendments. Prospective offerors should not expect notification that an amendment has been issued. The NECO web site is occasionally inaccessible due to maintenance. The Government is not responsible for any loss of Internet connectivity or for an offeror?s inability to access the document posted on the referenced web site.
