Description

THIS PROCUREMENT IS 100% SET-ASIDE FOR COMPETITION AMONG SMALL BUSINESS CONTRACTORS. Project Name: Supply 23 Aluminum Canon Carriages, Type 1 and Type 2. The National Park Service, US Department of the Interior, is soliciting competitive bids for a fixed-price supply contract to furnish all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to perform all operations required for the manufacture of metal display cannon carriages. Work includes, but is not limited to: Supplying the size of each carriage which is appropriate and in proportion to its respective tube (e.g., Type 1,Type 2 or Type 3). Retrofitting of a single type carriage to fit larger or smaller tubes is not acceptable. All carriages must be cast from marine aluminum with steel hardware. No carriages will be accepted if cast from any other material. All items supplied will be under a single contract. The NAICS code for this project is 332995. In accordance with FAR Subpart 36.204, the price range for this contract is between $100,000 and $250,000. The Solicitation and attachments will be posted on electronic commerce on or about April 5, 2004 at the following website: http://ideasec.nbc.gov. Offerors wishing to receive electronic notification of changes will need to register to receive notification of this specific solicitation at http://ideas.nbc.gov. This service is provided for convenience only and does not serve as a guarantee notification.
