Description

Just two days left to register. The Deputy Under Secretary of Defense for Advanced Systems and Concepts (DUSD(AS&C)), Ms. Sue Payton, invites industry to participate in a conference on March 30th and 31st, 2004. The Conference aims to increase indu stry??????s understanding of the ACTD Program and to identify mature or maturing technologies that can be rapidly transitioned to our warfighters. In addition to providing a better understanding of the ACTD program, there will be time on the agenda for di scussions between industry and officials from the office of the DUSD (AS&C) to discuss the processes used to generate defense needs and the technology-based solutions avaialble to meet those needs. AS&C representatives will be prepared to discuss a range of technical research and engineering programs underway in the Department of Defense. The conference is being held at the headquarters of Virginia Center for Innovative Technology (CIT) in Herndon, Virginia. Attendance is limited (approximately 100 each day) and both days have an identical agenda so attendees are requested to register for just one day.
