- SUBJECT: Industry Day Conference Invitation, FA7046-04-S-0001, HQ Air Force Operational Test and Evaluation Center (HQ AFOTEC), Advisory Services and Engineering Technical Assistance (ASETA)(Advisory and Assistance Services). You are invited to attend an Industry Day conference at Albuquerques, New Mexico on Wednesday, 14 April 2004, regarding the upcoming solicitation for the HQ AFOTEC AAETA contract. Industry day is scheduled for 0900 - 1200 in the Wyindham Hotel, Bandolier Room, located at 2910 Yale Blvd. This industry conference has been scheduled as a result of a large amount of interest shown by industry in this effort. The HQ AFOTEC, AAETA acquistion team will provide a top-level overview of the requirement and share with industry any information currently available on the planned effort. However, industry is cautioned that HQ AFOTEC has not yet determined the final acquisition plan and available information is limited. Another goal of this industry day conference is to solicit input from industry to assist the HQ AFOTEC acquisition team in market research and final acquisition planning. Time will be set aside for vendor questions. Questions may be submitted in advance to the POCs identified below. One-on-one discussions are available upon request. One-on-one discussions will be limited to 15 minute sessions and are not intended as capabilities briefings. One-on-one discussions must be requested no later than Monday, 5 April 04. Requests for one-on-one discussions and questions should be e-mailed to roxanna.roda @afotec.af.mil The government will continue to post all information concerning the acquisition to FedBizOps (www.eps.gov) as it becomes available, and the government reserves the right to publish any new information disclosed about this acquistion that it believes will be useful to all potential offerors. NOTE: Information provided during this conference will not qualify the terms and conditions of any resulting Request for Proposal (RFP). The definitive treatment of any problems and/or questions will be handled in the formal RFP.
